Platforms are the problem. Facebook needs to do better in protecting women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disabled folks from online harassment.

2/3 of women and 3/4 of Black and Latinx people surveyed by Pew Research Center say that online harassment is a major problem. Reactive solutions are not real solutions. We need platforms to be held accountable for the abuse, trauma, and violence they cause in already underrepresented communities.

Our message to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, TikTok is: Be Better.

"Two Guam abortion laws that require an 'in-person' consultation prior to the procedure and stipulate that the procedure should be performed in approved clinics are essentially barring [doctors] from providing abortion medications to their Guam patients."

Abortions are legal in Guam, but women have no access to them because of a lack of local providers and required in-person consultations.
