This publication is an initiative of the Mexico Program at The Dialogue and presents key insights on North America’s digital and AI integration. It builds on the work of the Digital Trade and AI Task Force, convened by the Mexico Program since 2025. It presents actionable policy recommendations to strengthen USMCA Chapter 19 (Digital Trade) and advance a more integrated and inclusive digital economy across North America. It was developed in collaboration with leaders and experts from the private sector, academia, think tanks, and civil society on both sides of the border.
