MEMA is a trade association that represents more than 1,000 companies that innovate, develop and manufacture a wide-range of original equipment and aftermarket products, components and systems for passenger cars, light trucks and commercial vehicles. The motor vehicle components manufacturing industry is the nation’s largest direct employer of manufacturing jobs – employing over 871,000 workers in

all 50 states – and contributes nearly $435 billion in GDP. Our members lead the way in developing advanced, transformative technologies that enable safer, smarter and more efficient vehicles, all within a rapidly growing global marketplace with increased regulatory and customer demands. MEMA advocates on behalf of suppliers on issues of legislative and regulatory interest to the industry and represents its members through four divisions:
* Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA);
* Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA);
* Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA); and,
* Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA).
