The Hungarian American Artifacts Exhibition at the USA250 Gala showcased diaries, books, photographs, and other memorabilia collected, conserved, and preserved by the American Hungarian Foundation illuminating the Hungarian American story, the immigrant experience, and the enduring cultural legacy of Hungarians in the United States.
Featured artifacts included exquisite Zsolnay porcelain, materials connected to Camp Kilmer and the 1956 Hungarian refugee experience, as well as rare archival photographs and historical documents that brought generations of Hungarian American history to life.
Special thanks to Melissa Katko Pepin, Executive Director of the American Hungarian Foundation, for curating this remarkable exhibition and helping to share these powerful stories of heritage, resilience, and contribution.
