The Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole has denied clemency for death-row inmate Troy Davis, Amnesty International said Tuesday. Davis was convicted of the 1989 killing of Savannah, Georgia, police officer Mark MacPhail.

This article is coming out late after the attack 2 weeks ago where Empower DC, the International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement DC Branch, and other organizations demonstrated inside of City council. Today, in city council Marrion Barry proposed restricting welfare from individuals who have been on it for more than 5 years. We will keep you updated as more develops.
