Praying for the survivors and those recovering from injuries. Hoping for the search and rescues to save more lives.

105 people died in the earthquake in Jajarkot, the epicentre of the quake, while 52 deaths have been reported in the adjoining district West Rukum.

Dr. Pranay Rana, a U.S. returnee Nepali politician and security expert, is visiting USA to give a lecture at a university in Maryland and currently is in Maryland. It is an opportune time for us to meet and speak with him.
He has agreed to come to Arlinton, VA meet with us today.

Last year, he ran for Nepal's parliament's Kathmandu constituency no. 5 and led to popularize the alternative political party, Rastriya Swatantra Party. He is currrently the Deputy Chairperson of Central NRN Department of Rastriya Swatantra Party.

This will be an informal meet and greet to exchanges views and ideas, and listen from how he sees Nepal's political and governance system and needed reforms. It will be an open conversation among attendees and him.
