MD-DE-DC Moose Association Lodges How do we rank and How do we become Top Association in our division ?? GLAD you ask !

We currently are in Division 3, and sit at 2nd place behind New Jersey. But by only a very small margin..So its easily attainable to be #1 in our division. So if we work really hard and every member does their part, Retaining members, working the lodge retention, signing new members, coming out to support your lodges, even when there is no meeting or entertainment. Help plan events and set up fundraisers to give back to the mission and our local communities. Attending Conventions and Conferences, District Meetings, Lodges Meetings, WOTM meetings or Moose Legion Meetings. Volunteer in the kitchen , volunteer at a fundraiser. Or just support everyone that is doing their best to make your lodge the best. WE CAN BE #1 TOP ASSOCIATION. WHO'S HOUSE ? OUR HOUSE ! Do it for them my Moose family, do it for the children, the seniors and our communities we live in.

So the Chairman of the Board Visitation at Annapolis Mark JK Penzkover award the Coveted Belt..because it was also our Association Chili Cook-off. And, the Winner Is: Carrie Gibbs College Park retained the title.. CONGRATULATIONS Carrie

Mark Penzkover chair of the board from Moose International came to visit Claymont 847 on Friday the 21st. Claymont gave a great welcome of about 25 people including Brandywine hundred fire company and a representative from Delaware state police. Thank you all for the great support. The fire company was given a case of Tommy Mooses for them to hand out to during emergency calls. Involving children. Mark also received a check for endowment and a check for DSP to present. He was quite excited to see his home lodge on our license plate wall and sign a wooden moose to add to our collection of dignitary visits to Claymont. Thank you to the WOTM for a great meal.

On Sunday August 23rd ..was a busy day for Chairman of the Board Mark Penzkover. His First Stop was visiting Lewes Rehoboth Moose #646 Small but Mighty. Presentations by the lodge as well as Presentations from the Junior Moose Club were made ..Lunch was provided and it was a great day of Fraternal Fellowship

Seaford Moose Lodge #1728 had the pleasure of hosting Chairman of the Board Mark JK Penzkover Sunday August 23rd.Mark assisted with the Presentations to Blades Fire Company, Delaware State Police , Camp Barnes , and The Seaford High Footbal Team along with Littlle Miss America 250. Along with Tommy Moose Dolls And, the story about Tommy Hatcher and what the story behind Tommy Moose dolls means. Presentations back to Moose Lodge 1728 of Challenge Coins from Representative Danny Short and also, From Detective Jeff Hudson, Corporal Ashley Stetser and Trooper Colbys Collins Of a Banner that was displayed at the Annual Car Race for Camp Barnes and a Delaware State Police 250 License plate were made to the lodge.. Donations were also made by Seaford WOTM for Moose Charities Horizon Project and District 7 As well as Donation from Rick Hutchinson President of the the Blue Hen Moose Legion to Mark Penzkover...It was a great time and lotsa of great Fraternalist.

It is with great sadness and reverence that I announce the passing of Past Supreme Governor Tom Hatcher.
Last Night PSG Thomas Hatcher. who created the Tommy Moose Stuffie passed away the copied material is a brief history.

In 2002 Tommy Moose was created by Tom Hatcher (Past Supreme Governor of the Loyal Order of Moose)

Origin: Started as a community service project in Connecticut before expanding across the United States and Canada

Purpose: Designed to help children overcome fear and anxiety during times of stress or crisis.

Distribution: Given to police officers, firefighters, and emergency workers to hand out in traumatic situations.
