World Youth Peace Movement

World Youth Peace Movement WYPM is a 501(c)3 nonprofit cultivating young leaders from all corners of the world to work together to achieve sustainable peace, one community at a time.

The World Youth Peace Movement (WYPM) is a U.S. base is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on developing a generation of well-informed global citizens, eager to work with and understand other cultures, political ideology, and social backgrounds. The movement continues to organize and sponsor conferences and lectures around the globe in order to tackle issues that concern the world’s y

outh population, issues that transcend any political or ideological affiliation. Finding common beliefs, respect, understanding, and admiration for one another will be the foundation for sharing experiences, ideas, creating projects and concrete plans for action that will translate into global initiatives. These initiatives will be the corner stone to achieving a global movement when participants, from all corners of the world, engage their communities to integrate these objectives. By creating a ripple effect of engaged youth, country-by-country, the movement will grow and the power of the youth, as a collective group, will strengthen.

It's more important to talk with each other then about each other. And we can only do that productively, in person!

"We all benefit by having young people exposed to the 'way things are done' in a democratic society. Isn’t it time... to 'tap the power of youth?'" - Hans Bernard

Awesome moment to witness while physically being here in Chile!!

It has taken almost 2.5 decades for real reform to come to Chile since democracy was restored and today the legislature voted in favor for major electoral political changes.

Starting today, the people of Chile will be represented fairly, based off of populations and votes cast for the individual instead of votes for the lists/party that historically hurts Independent candidates because they're not allowed to be representative on a list.

Rural areas will be better representative in Congress and will be able to have their voice heard louder and all candidates have a real chance at being elected to Congress, and grassroots campaigning will make the difference.

We will have a program next week speaking with young Chileans to gauge their reaction.

Change has come to Chile!

Sony might have pulled the movie 'The Interview' because of North Korean threats, but this video isn't something that the hackers can make go away as easily. Our heart goes out to this wonderful young activist for telling her story, may we all learn to tell our story so the world will learn the truth.
