Today, ABA joined Kraft Heinz at its annual meal-packing event in partnership with Rise Against Hunger in Washington, DC. 🍴

We helped package 25,000 meals for students facing food insecurity in El Salvador, contributing to an initiative that has provided more than 400 million meals to school feeding and supplementation programs globally over the last decade.

Baking industry leaders from across the country gathered in Washington, DC last week for the 2026 Bakers Fly-In and Policy Summit hosted by ABA in partnership with Retail Bakers of America and American Society of Baking.

Bakers and suppliers connected directly with policymakers to advocate for the industry’s priorities and share the hashtag advocacy campaign, highlighting how the industry nourishes families, creates jobs, supports communities, and contributes to the nation’s economy.
