School may have been out for Memorial Day, but the fun was just beginning at Mission: NOVA!

This week, we welcomed local families for a special Kids Day celebration to honor the children in our community and kick off the start of summer. With beautiful weather, delicious food, gifts, games, and plenty of smiles, it was a day filled with joy and connection.

Events like these are opportunities to build relationships, strengthen families, and remind children that they are seen, valued, and loved.

We're grateful for everyone who makes this ministry possible. As Mission: NOVA continues to grow, we're seeing lives transformed and communities strengthened throughout Northern Virginia.

This Memorial Day, we’re especially grateful for the incredible supporters, donors, and volunteers who make it possible for our Men’s Shelter guests to experience care, dignity, community, and the love of God every day. 🇺🇸

As we honored the brave men and women who sacrificed so much for our freedom, our guests also enjoyed a warm meal, meaningful fellowship, and the welcoming start of summer together.

Thank you for helping make moments like these possible at the Mission.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the courage, selflessness, and love that can change the lives of others forever.

As we reflect on this day we also remember the many veterans and neighbors experiencing homelessness, hardship, poverty, mental health struggles, and loneliness right here in our area. Because of compassionate supporters, hope, help, healing, and the Gospel are being shared every day across all of our Mission locations.

Today we remember, honor, and we remain very grateful. ❤️
