Take some time this week to listen to the newest episode of Root of the Issue, TRCC’s podcast that explores the passion and purpose of individuals from across the nation who have dedicated themselves to championing health equity for all. This week’s guests are Will Thomas and Scott Carter from Conduit Government Relations. Scott serves as the president and chief strategy officer of Conduit and brings more than 30 years of expertise in federal government relations to his work. Throughout his career he has counseled senior leaders at all levels including agency Secretaries and members of Congress on issues of economic development, minority business, veterans’ issues and how public safety net programs operate. Will Thomas is the Washington, D.C. Managing Director for Conduit and has more than a decade of experience working at the intersection of food insecurity, health and LGBTQ issues, achieving advocacy wins, and effecting policy changes at the local, state and federal levels.
