👋 Hi from Orlando! Our Community Navigation team is spending the week at the Conference, connecting with practitioners, advocates, and organizations from across the country who are working to improve health outcomes and expand support for our most vulnerable neighbors. We’re excited to learn, share, and bring back new ideas that strengthen our work here in DC.

District Bridges + = the perfect match. District Bridges is uniquely positioned to both distribute Breadcoin to neighbors in need AND sign up new businesses to accept the token as payment! While so much work in DC happens in silos, we are always looking for ways to help the ecosystem function more effectively together- and Breadcoin is a perfect example of how our Community Navigation Team and Main Streets team can effectively work together on such an important issue in our community like food insecurity. Our team is back from an inspiring few days at the Main Street Now Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

From workshops and panels to connecting with Main Street programs from across the globe, our team came home energized with new ideas and renewed direction for the work ahead. We also always love spending time with our fellow DC Main Street managers and directors, and of course !

Tulsa gave us so much to learn from, be inspired from, and we're grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring fresh inspiration back to the neighborhoods we serve 💛
