This week, we’re still split between Israel and Chutz La’aretz.
In Israel, we read Beha’alotcha — beginning with the lighting of the Menorah, continuing with the dedication of the Levi’im, Pesach Sheni, the cloud guiding Bnei Yisrael through the desert, and the nation’s complaints as they struggle with the journey.
In Chutz La’aretz, we read Naso — the longest parsha in the Torah, covering the roles of the Levi’im, the laws of the Sotah and Nazir, Birkat Kohanim, and the offerings brought by the Nesi’im at the dedication of the Mishkan.
Two different parshiyot, but one shared message:
Whether through structure, blessing, service, or spiritual struggle, the Torah is teaching us how to move forward as a people — with holiness, responsibility, and faith.
