What a beautiful few days in Virginia Beach at Farm Aid!
Rural Coalition members, farmers, ranchers, advocates, staff, partners, and youth came together to participate in the 41st Farm Aid. We learned from each other, and strengthened our collective resolve to continue our work moving rural communities forward.
Our delegation represented the diversity of the communities we serve.
Throughout the week, we participated in conversations and activities focused on agriculture, food systems, rural communities, and the policies that affect the people who grow and produce our food.
We shared information on , connected with farmers and advocates from across the country, and continued working alongside like-minded organizations toward a that is fair for farmers, ranchers, workers, and rural communities.
On Saturday, Rural Coalition joined the HOMEGROWN Village, where we hosted an exhibit and connected with festivalgoers around farming, food, land, resources, and rural communities.
And of course, the music 🎶 was amazing! We ended the experience enjoying incredible performances while celebrating the farmers and communities at the heart of this movement.
