NEW POLL 📊: 94% of voters say Congress and the President must act to lower health care costs, and a new national poll from Families USA shows they're just as fed up with unreasonably high hospital prices.

Key findings from the poll include:
▪️ 94% say it's important for Congress and the President to take action to lower health care costs, including 74% who say it's very important and 20% who say it's fairly or somewhat important.
▪️ 81% say hospital prices are unreasonable compared to just 12% who call them reasonable — a near-consensus view that crosses party lines.
▪️ 60% of voters oppose Medicaid cuts.

The message is clear: Congress must cut costs, not care. Lawmakers should stop gutting the safety net and instead address the real root cause of rising costs — corporate health systems overcharging patients.

CMS's new rule will prohibit Medicaid reimbursement to transition-related care for young people. This is yet another example of this administration ignoring the science and departing from medical expertise. Gender-affirming care is essential health care supported by every major medical institution.
