The Artists & Athletes Alliance proudly partnered with Artist For Action on a roundtable discussion for members of the entertainment and creative community on Gun Violence Prevention and School Safety. Our guest speakers were Mark Barden and Nicole Hockley who lost their sons Daniel & Dylan in the senseless mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Both Mark and Nicole have dedicated their lives to sparing other parents, the pain of losing their children to senseless gun violence.

The Artists and Athletes Alliance was proud to partner with Artist For Action on a roundtable discussion for members of the entertainment & creative community on Protecting Our Children: Gun Violence Prevention and School Safety. Our special guest was Mark Barden, Co-Founder & CEO of the Sandy Hook Promise. Since the tragic murder of his son, Daniel, during the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012, Mark has dedicated himself to sparing other families the pain of losing children to gun violence.
