For the first time, all six member institutions — Delaware State, Alabama State, Pensole Lewis and the Southern University System — are hosting a joint prospective student event.

Tuskegee senior Jaida Bazemore is taking HBCU excellence to a national stage.

Bazemore recently spoke at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s 39th Anniversary Gala in Washington, D.C., sharing her Tuskegee journey and the impact of investing in HBCU students.

A business administration major concentrating in supply chain management, Bazemore serves as Miss Brimmer and co-created Tiger’s Comfort Corner, providing free menstrual care products to students.

Through TMCF, she secured internship opportunities with Caterpillar Inc. and Boeing and interned with Caterpillar last summer.

Now, she’s helping open those same doors for her peers, helping increase Tuskegee student participation in TMCF’s Leadership Institute from nine students last year to 15 this year.

Deeply honored and humbled to receive the Chairman’s Award at the 41st annual National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Atlanta last night.

​Standing in a room filled with dedicated alumni, educators and leaders who pour tirelessly into our historically Black colleges and universities is a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

​Congratulations to all of my fellow 2026 inductees and honorees. Thank you to the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. leadership and board for this recognition, and to the entire Thurgood Marshall College Fund team, our member schools and our supporters who make our shared mission possible every single day.
