Cohn's Kitchen provides restaurant and culinary job training and workforce development to DC's underserved and underprivileged young adults with a demonstrated passion for excellence and a commitment to employment in the restaurant industry. Cohn's Kitchen provides DC's youth and young adults with an opportunity to:
Develop basic competency of kitchen management & cooking, financial & accounting,
time management, purchasing and ordering, menu development, sales & marketing, guest service, and leadership. Develop business acumen required to run a restaurant through hands-on training with local Chefs and Restaurateurs. Foster engagement, creativity and personal growth through “real-world” industry challenges of working in a restaurant.
