📈 We had an amazing time kicking off the Developed: UK Tour in Belfast with IoT Belfast, Galvia Digital, and Catalyst last night!

The evening brought together founders, engineers, product leaders, policymakers, and technology professionals to talk about how teams are building and deploying AI, connected systems, and emerging technologies in practice, and how policy, regulation, and data governance shape that work. No spoilers, but: regulation and innovation are closely tied, especially when it comes to investment and access to capital 💸 A big thank you to everyone who joined us for a great evening and a strong start to the UK tour!

📆 Join us on our next stop in Glasgow on 4 June, where we’ll continue the conversation with Scotland’s startup and innovation community. Learn more and register: https://loom.ly/zlqfjKw

🇬🇧 London was sunny, the conversations were real, and the impact was undeniable.

Over 35 ACT member companies gathered in April for three days of bringing founders together, learning from them on the impact of policy landscape and how it affects their ability to grow and scale. They brought thoughts and concerns around the DMCCA, AI regulation, SEPs and more to the halls of Westminster to meet with 50+ MPs, Peers, and civil servants.

Our members told honest stories about what it takes to build and scale in the UK right now. Policymakers listened. Friendships formed. Collaborations took shape. And most importantly, our members left knowing that their voices matter and that they're stronger together.

This is community, education, and advocacy in action. See the full story and where the Developed UK Tour goes next. ↙️

Our final stop on the Developed: EU Tour brought us to Dublin and what a craic it was!

Before the Dublin Tech Summit kicked off, we hosted a networking forum where we learned more about what startups and SMEs are actually dealing with right now. spoiler: it’s funding, market access, AI, competition, scaling across borders, and the rules shaping all of it.

And of course a huge thank you to Barry Ward TD for joining us and speaking to the role startups and SMEs play in Ireland’s economy, and the opportunity Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union creates to help shape a regulatory environment that rewards and inspires innovation.

We also kept the conversation going with a tech community dinner and spent the week connecting with founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders at Dublin Tech Summit.

It’s a strong close to Developed: EU and an exciting lead up to the kick off Developed: UK today in Belfast. Click here to learn more: https://loom.ly/pzAoAcM

💻 Did you know Warsaw has one of Europe's most competitive and fast-growing tech scenes?

At our Developed: EU stop in Warsaw, we had a standing room only crowd of founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders ready to talk about what scaling in one of Europe's fastest-growing markets actually looks like. The conversations covered capital access, regulatory clarity, and what policy environments need to look like to support teams that are already moving fast.

ACT is on the ground across the EU and UK this summer to make sure these conversations reach the people making decisions. Watch the video for more.

Turns out scaling across the EU and UK is kind of like putting together a puzzle 🧩 Founders are trying to grow, raise funding, enter new markets, and build long-term while the rules shaping all of that keep shifting in the background.

So this summer, we’re hitting the road. Our Developed Tour is bringing together founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders together across Europe + the UK for conversations about growth, funding, policy, and what founders are actually dealing with right now.

A little networking, a little policy, a lot of real talk. Learn more: https://loom.ly/l6LY7Zs

👀 At our Developed: EU stop in Vilnius, we heard from founders operating in one of Europe’s most digitally advanced ecosystems. What we heard was that moving fast creates its own policy challenges. When your market is ahead of the regulation, the conversation shifts from “how do we grow” to “how do we make sure the rules don’t slow down what’s already working.”

ACT is on the ground across the EU and the UK this summer to ensure those conversations reach the people building the digital economy. Learn about the tours and our upcoming events: https://loom.ly/l6LY7Zs

"The legislative decisions being made now around DMA implementation will shape how this plays out. Whether small companies have a voice in that process depends on participation." - Ricardo Correia, Co-Founder, Untile

⚖️ Since DMA implementation began, the stakes for small developers have become impossible to ignore. When the rules shift, smaller startups end up carrying the cost, making it harder to secure investment and stay competitive in a global market.

📈 Munich’s startup ecosystem is growing fast, but growth doesn't happen in a vacuum.

At the Munich stop on our Developed: EU tour, founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders discussed what it actually takes to scale across markets: access to capital, regulatory clarity, and policy environments that support product decisions rather than slowing them down. For startups, uncertainty can shape hiring plans, investor confidence, launch timelines, and whether small teams can expand quickly enough to compete.

📆 We're bringing these conversations across the EU and the UK this summer to connect what startups are building with what policymakers need to understand about growth, investment, and innovation.
