Loretta Carey (a/k/a “Grandma Dynamite”) graduated from the transformative Building Bridges to Better Community program on December 4, 2023. Ms. Carey wowed the audience with a poem at the graduation ceremony for new Ambassadors of Peace.
The graduation marked the culmination of a dedicated pursuit of leadership, conflict mitigation, and trust-building. Residents embarked on a profound exploration of self-discovery and community engagement.
Fun fact: “Grandma Dynamite” was honored for achieving perfect attendance over the course of the six months.
