NEW REPORT! The State of Global Giving by U.S. Foundations: 2026 Edition.

What did we find?

✅ Global Giving by U.S. Foundations remained consisted as a share of overall giving
✅ Community foundations surpassed corporate foundations in global giving for the first time
✅ Global Giving for the environment more than doubled, surpassing health for the first time
✅ Direct global giving in support of locally led development increased, but still represented a small portion of overall global support
✅ National DAF sponsors rivaled foundations in global giving

The San Antonio Area Foundation brings all ages together to break bread — and break down stereotypes.

At each table, as many as five generations sit side by side, from preteens to adults in their 80s and 90s.

85% of participants leave saying they made a meaningful connection. Get the full story.

Once a month or more, San Antonio residents come together for dinner with strangers. Typically, they gather around tables with fresh flowers and seats for as many as eight people. Pasta or another simple entree is served family-style. Guests talk about people in their lives, their proudest moments,....
