Today, our FCCLA members brought a little inspiration and a lot of color to our school with our “Dreams Take Flight” project—a special tribute to Dolly Parton and the power of dreaming BIG!
Middle school students were invited to color their own butterfly and write one of their dreams on it. From future careers to personal goals, each butterfly represents a dream just waiting to take flight.
We can’t wait to see where these dreams will lead!

Baleigh is dependable, organized, energetic, and completely invested in FCCLA. When something needs to be done, she isn’t waiting for someone else to take care of it. She is one of the first to step forward and ask, “What can I do?” That willingness to serve, combined with her organization and reliability, makes her someone the team can truly count on.

But Baleigh’s leadership goes beyond getting things done. She is a true friend who cares about the people around her. She brings energy to the group and has a way of making her commitment to FCCLA contagious.

One of her greatest strengths may be that she is such a natural FCCLA ambassador. She doesn’t just tell people they should join—she shares her own FCCLA stories and explains why it matters. Her excitement comes from genuinely believing in what FCCLA stands for, and that authenticity can inspire others to want to be part of it too.

Lily is friendly, creative, independent, and naturally drawn to people. She enjoys meeting and interacting with others, which is such a valuable quality in FCCLA. She is someone who can walk into a room full of people she doesn’t know and quickly find someone to talk to.

It makes perfect sense that pin trading is one of her favorite parts of NLC. For Lily, it isn’t just about collecting pins—it’s about the interaction, meeting members from different places, and making connections along the way. That really captures her personality.

At the same time, Lily has an independent and creative side. She is comfortable being herself, thinking in her own way, and bringing her own personality to what she does. That carefree individuality can be a real strength because she doesn’t feel like she has to be exactly like everyone else.

Chloe is thoughtful, creative, hardworking, and friendly. She enjoys having fun and being part of the group, but underneath that fun personality is someone who truly cares about the chapter and is willing to put in the work to help it grow.

One of Chloe’s strengths is her thoughtfulness. She doesn’t just bring ideas—she thinks about how those ideas can help the chapter and the people around her. Her creativity allows her to see new possibilities, and her work ethic helps move those possibilities from an idea into something the team can actually accomplish.

Chloe is also simply easy to have on a team. She is friendly, approachable, and willing to help when something needs to be done. That combination makes her someone others can feel comfortable working alongside.

Emma is a fun, creative, dependable, and hardworking FCCLA leader who gives 100% to whatever she takes on. She genuinely enjoys working with others, and one of her strengths is her ability to connect with people of all ages. Whether she is working alongside fellow officers, helping younger students, or interacting with adults, she brings enthusiasm and a willingness to be involved.

Emma’s contagious smile is part of what makes her so special. She brings a positive energy to the group that can make the work more enjoyable for everyone around her. But behind that fun personality is someone who takes her responsibilities seriously. When Emma says she is going to do something, she can be counted on to follow through.

Her creativity allows her to bring wonderful ideas to the chapter, while her accountability and work ethic help turn those ideas into action. She doesn’t just want to participate—she wants to contribute, work hard, and help make FCCLA better.
