Every child deserves to start the school year with confidence.

This August, Ready, Willing & Working is providing backpacks filled with school supplies to children of our "Men and Women in Blue" and children with incarcerated fathers. But with just weeks to go, we need your help.

Donate school supplies through our Amazon Wish List or make a monetary gift to help ensure every child heads back to school ready to learn.

Together, we can help children head back to school prepared, confident, and supported, while giving incarcerated fathers the opportunity to remain involved in one of the most important moments of their child's year. 💙

Thank you to everyone who helped make Ready, Willing & Working’s “Father’s Day Celebration/Children’s Day" at Cumberland Federal Prison possible.

For one precious day, children were simply able to be with their fathers — to laugh, talk, share a meal, and really connect.

Prison walls may separate families, but they do not end fatherhood, or a child’s need to feel loved.

Your generosity helped create moments these children and fathers will carry with them long after the day was over. Thank you. To help fund our next Children's Day in August, please give what you can to https://www.rwwdc.org/donate/

This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating dads who are proving that their past does not define their future.

Through Ready, Willing & Working, fathers who once faced homelessness, addiction, or incarceration are rebuilding their lives through the power of work. Earning paychecks, supporting their families, and becoming the role models their children can count on.

Your support makes these transformations possible.

Help more fathers rebuild their lives this Father’s Day. Because when a father succeeds, an entire family benefits.

Ready, Willing & Working is grateful for the ongoing support of the Capitol Hill Community Foundation (CHCF)! Thanks to the funding received from CHCF grants, RWW is able to provide supportive services that are so crucial to the success of the program.

Grant funding enables RWW to provide services such as weekly case management meetings, relapse prevention, Metro fare cards. These supports are essential to helping participants develop healthy life and work habits that ensure their future success as productive citizens.

At Ready, Willing & Working, our growing waitlist reflects just how many individuals are ready and eager for the opportunity to work, highlighting both the need for and the impact of this program.

The Capitol Hill BID partners with The h3 Project to connect individuals experiencing homelessness in Capitol Hill to critical services and housing. Through this outreach, two individuals were recently connected to RWW, where they were able to access employment and ongoing supportive services.

Today, they are thriving, building stability through both housing and meaningful work.

This is what’s possible when organizations come together around a shared mission, creating real pathways out of homelessness and into long-term success.
