MASSACHUSETTS
You can vote early in person through Friday, October 30. Hours vary by city and town, so check your local election office.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. Senate, all 9 U.S. House seats, Governor’s Council, state legislature, and statewide ballot questions.

📝 Not registered yet? You have until Saturday, October 24.

🪪 No photo ID needed unless it’s your first time voting in the state or your registration is challenged. In that case, bring any ID with your name on it.

NEVADA
You can vote early in person at any early voting location in your county through Friday, October 30. Every active registered voter was also mailed a ballot.

Mail it back postmarked by Election Day, or drop it off by 7 PM on Nov. 3.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. House, and statewide ballot questions, including Question 7 on photo ID for voting.

📝 Not registered? You can register and vote the same day during early voting. Bring a Nevada driver’s license or ID card, plus proof of address if it isn’t current.

🌟 Creating Change Ambassador Spotlight: Talesha Wilson 🌟

Meet Talesha Wilson (she/her), Co-Executive Director of the Black Leadership Action Coalition of Kentucky (BLACK), and one of our Creating Change 2027 Local Ambassadors! 💜

Talesha is a Black le***an activist, community organizer, and content creator based right here in Louisville and a proud University of Louisville graduate.

She helps lead an inclusive network of Black organizers and activists across the Commonwealth who are committed to abolition, anti-capitalism, and representative, collective decision-making.

💬 “If we really want to win, some things are going to need to be shaken up.”

As an ambassador, Talesha is on a mission to bring more urban Black gay folks to Creating Change, bringing the razzle dazzle she says Kentucky’s q***r spaces are missing.

She wants people to get uncomfortable, take on questions no one has asked yet, and claim the seats at the table they deserve. ✨

🚨 Early voting is OPEN in Alaska, Colorado, and Connecticut!

ALASKA

Starting today, you can vote early in person at polling places statewide. Locations and hours are on the Division of Elections website.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, state legislature, and Ballot Measures 2 and 3. Alaska uses ranked choice voting, so you can rank as many candidates as you like.

🪪 Bring ID. A driver’s license, passport, military ID, voter ID card, or a document with your name and address, like a utility bill, works. No ID? You can cast a questioned ballot.

COLORADO

Voting centers are opening across Colorado, and you can vote in person through 7 PM on Election Day, November 3.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, state legislature, and statewide ballot measures.

📝 Missed the Oct. 26 deadline to be mailed a ballot? You can still register and vote in person at a voting center through Election Day.

🪪 Bring ID. A photo ID or a document with your name and address, like a utility bill or bank statement, works.

CONNECTICUT

Starting today, you can vote early in person through Sunday, November 1, from 10 AM to 6 PM daily, including weekends. Hours run longer on Oct. 27 and Oct. 29. Each town has at least one early voting site.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. House, and state legislature.

📝 Not registered yet? You can register and vote the same day during early voting.

🪪 Connecticut asks for ID, but you can sign an affidavit if you don’t have one.

Louisiana purged 60,000 voters from the registration rolls. Are you still registered? 🗳️💜

Allen Morris, our Policy Director, shared a personal story about connecting with his community and having them check their voter registration.

Today is the last day to register to vote in multiple states. Don’t wait until Election Day to find out something is wrong.

Here’s what to do right now:

ARKANSAS

Starting today, you can vote early in person through Monday, November 2.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, state legislature, and four statewide ballot issues, including Issue 1 on who is eligible to vote.

🪪 Arkansas requires photo ID. A driver’s license, passport, military ID, or concealed carry license works.

SOUTH CAROLINA

Starting today, you can vote early in person through Saturday, October 31. Centers are open 8:30 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday and closed Sunday, Oct. 25.

On the ballot: Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and state legislature.

🪪 South Carolina requires photo ID. A SC driver’s license or DMV ID, passport, military ID, or photo voter registration card works. No photo ID? You can sign a reasonable impediment affidavit.

TEXAS

Starting today, you can vote early in person through Friday, October 30. In most counties you can use any vote center, not just your assigned one.

On the ballot: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Texas Supreme Court, and state legislature.

🪪 Texas requires photo ID. A Texas driver’s license, personal ID card, handgun license, military ID, or passport works. No photo ID? Sign a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and bring another form of ID.

Ballots are going out and voting centers are open starting today, October 16. You can vote through 8 PM on Election Day, November 3.

On the ballot: all 10 U.S. House seats and the state legislature. Our community is holding the line in Washington, so don’t let your ballot sit on the counter.

📬 Sign your ballot envelope, then mail it (postmarked by Election Day) or drop it in a ballot box by 8 PM on Nov. 3.

Happy National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day! 🧡❤️

Today is a reminder of the activists, organizers, and community members who fought for care, dignity, and liberation, and of the work that continues today.

Latinx communities continue to be disproportionately impacted by HIV, and too often face barriers like stigma, language access gaps, immigration fears, and lack of health care.

Today, we honor the resilience, joy, and brilliance of Latinx people living with and affected by HIV, including Afro-Latinx, immigrant, trans, and q***r communities.

We recommit ourselves to ending stigma, expanding access to testing, prevention, and care, and building a future where every person living with HIV can live openly, safely and authentically.

At the National LGBTQ Task Force, we remain committed to creating a world where justice and freedom are not aspirations, but realities for all.

On the ballot: an open U.S. Senate seat, U.S. House, NC Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and constitutional amendments.

📝 Missed the registration deadline? You can still register and vote on the same day during early voting. Bring proof of where you live.

🪪 Bring your photo ID. Don’t have one? Your county board of elections can issue a free voter ID.

Hispanic Heritage Month may be coming to a close, but our celebration of Latine communities doesn’t end today. 🧡💛

This month is a reminder of the activists, organizers, and community members who fought for visibility, dignity, and liberation, and the work continues today, tomorrow, and every day of the year.

We honor the resilience, joy, and brilliance of Latine and Hispanic communities in all of our diversity, including Afro-Latine, Indigenous, immigrant, trans, and q***r people.

We celebrate our history and uplift our voices.

Latine LGBTQ+ people have always been at the heart of this movement, building community and care while facing discrimination, anti-immigrant policies, and attacks on our rights.

We recommit ourselves to building a future where every Latine person can live openly, safely and authentically.

Iowa, early voting is open now. 🗳️

Early in-person voting in Iowa runs Oct. 14 through Nov. 2. Go to your county auditor’s office to vote before Election Day. Some counties offer satellite sites, so check with your auditor for locations and hours.

What’s on your ballot:

🗳️ Governor (open seat)
🗳️ U.S. Senate (open seat)
🗳️ U.S. House (all four Iowa districts)
🗳️ Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, Secretary of Agriculture, and State Auditor
🗳️ Iowa Senate and Iowa House
🗳️ Judges up for retention

Your exact ballot depends on where you live. Look up yours at your county auditor’s site.

🪪Bring your ID.

Iowa requires voter ID. Accepted forms include an Iowa driver’s license or non-operator ID, a U.S. passport, or a military ID.

If you don’t have one, your county auditor can issue a free Voter ID card.

Would you rather vote by mail? Your absentee ballot request is due Oct. 19. Request it from your county auditor and return it early.
