Park View Kids Zone Park View Kids Zone provides free programming for the kids in the Park View area.

• One-on-one mentoring and tutoring

• Provide activities to promote learning, creativity, and a healthy life style
o Arts and Crafts
o Organized Sports and group games
o Life skills (cooking, gardening, sowing, etc.) o Supervised play time
o Meals and snacks

• Provide special events
o Field Trips
o Camps and summer programs
o Community Service and Events
o Training Opportunities for parents

PVKZ's 5th Annual Santa's Workshop is happening at Park View Rec Center tomorrow from 1pm to 4pm!!! PVKZ kids & families come see us!! I'm picking up items for the parents store today if anyone had gently used purses, jewelry, scarfs, household items, kick knacks, or anything that'd make a good gift for kids to give to a parent..if you have anything text Mrs. A at 202-421-9356 or u can drop off at PV Rec from 10am & 12pm tomorrow before the event!! Spontaneous cookout tomorrow at PV Rec. Not technically a PVKZ event, but if anyone wants to drop by from 1to 4pm we will have the grill going & hanging out. If you want to join us being a side dish or dessert to share & bring your own drink. Figured if a bunch of us brought a little something we could have a nice afternoon! Massive Field Day Tomorrow at Park View Rec from 1 to 4pm!! Please come out and support Playworks (Coach D) & PVKZ!! Bring your tennis shoes, effort, & let's have some fun!! See all PVKZ kidos Saturday at 1pm!! Mrs. A is going to beat all y'all & win all the games!! Ok, maybe not, but she'll talk a good game :)

Yo Park View Crew!! Cookout, moon bounce, bike clinic, yoga, games at Wangari Gardens from 12pm to 4pm! It's located at Park Place & Irving in front of Washington Hospital Center. They have 20 new garden plots if anyone wants to grow a garden this spring! We will be meeting whoever wants to go at PV Rec at 1pm to walk down as a group. PVKZ will be hosting kickball, football, tug of war, & other fun kid activities! Join us PVKZ families! Any one welcome to volunteer to help us with games & face painting!

If anyone wants a place to go for Easter your welcome to join Mrs.A! No dressing up, all young people, not traditional, coffee & breakfast, come as you are, all are welcome! PV group meeting in front Mrs. A's (3641 Warder St) at 10am or meet us there (behind Target in CH). Come say hi to all the wonderful volunteers that were at the cookout yesterday & Rev who was ballin on the court. :)

Wow! What an awesome day! Perfect weather, best neighbors in DC, and wonderful volunteers! Thank you to everyone who made today possible! Best event PVKZ has done yet! We had 400 people come through today, estimates from the food lines! Such a relief to have others stand with us, beside us, and support us! We can't do this alone! Love you all!

3 on 3 Basketball tournament and free throw contest today during cookout at Park View Rec! High school age and adults, male and femal welcome! Teams need to let Mr. Ira know by 2pm that they are in! $50 visa cards to each winner! We want some good ballers out today and show them how we do it in Park View!!
