2025 YEAR IN REVIEW
IMAN USA continued its dedicated support of the Khill and Kamaris schools in northern Pakistan. We also maintained our expansion into Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) through the Rises Foundation School, serving over 130 students, and the Zoodkhun community, ensuring education reaches the most remote regions.
Khill School, Chipursan Valley
The school achieved a 100% success rate in the core areas of reading, writing, and arithmetic this year. Digital lessons were introduced in early childhood development classes, while consistent teacher training helped increase student retention. Funding also allowed for the addition of new books to the library to enhance learning resources. Miss Mehr expressed her profound gratitude to all donors, noting that seeing the children grow is the greatest joy that keeps her motivated to continue to teach.
Kamaris CBS, Gulmit, Hunza
Financial support from IMAN USA enabled the payment of teacher salaries and the purchase of essential classroom resources, fostering a productive school atmosphere. The school achieved a 100% result once again, with teachers sharing assessments and progress reports directly with the local community and parents. Students participated in prestigious academic tours to the Aga Khan Academy and Altit Fort, alongside nature-focused autumn activities and Teachers’ Day celebrations. Student enrollment has increased by 12% because donor funding allows children to attend school locally rather than walking miles to the nearest facility.
Zoodkhun Community School
IMAN USA has extended its reach to support the Zoodkhun Community School in the remote regions of the world to ensure consistent access to quality learning. By providing regular funding for teacher salaries, we have significantly improved teacher retention and stabilized the academic environment. This reliable support has led to improved student attendance and a measurable increase in the overall quality of education within the community. These professional wages empower educators to remain committed to their students, ensuring uninterrupted instruction for this remote population.
Rises Foundation School, AJK
Located near Muzaffarabad, this school focuses on over 150 students and teachers and emphasizes both English language skills and physical health as well as outdoor excursions throughout the year to give the children a hands-on experience. IMAN funding has continued to enable significant growth, consistent attendance, improve teacher retention, and stellar student academic results. As a result of the support, neighboring communities have encouraged the administration to expand into other local schools as part of RFS. The dedication and commitment of the administration is demonstrated through this success!
Beyond the Classroom
In addition to school sponsorship, IMAN USA provided refugee relocation donations and assisted underprivileged families with school, basic living, and medical needs throughout the year.
