Together, we’ll explore AI through a Girl Up lens, one grounded in critical thinking, equity, power, and youth agency.

We’ll dig into questions like:

🧠 How can we critically evaluate AI rather than simply accept what it tells us?

💼 What could AI mean for the future of work, careers, and opportunities?

⚖️ Who has access to AI, and who gets to make decisions about how these technologies are built and used?

📱 How can young people think critically about AI in social media, storytelling, and advocacy?

🔬 What can STEAM leaders do to participate in, challenge, and shape the systems and technologies of the future?

This isn't just a conversation about how young people can adapt to AI.

It’s about asking what kind of future we want to create, and how young people can help shape it.

Girl Up USA Coalition Executive Boards bring together 5–10 committed Girl Up Leaders from across a region to organize their Coalition, plan events, support local clubs, and take action for gender equality in their communities.

As an Executive Board member, you’ll have the opportunity to:�✨ Lead Coalition events, campaigns, and initiatives�📣 Amplify youth voices and advocate for gender equality�🤝 Build connections with clubs and community organizations�📱 Help shape communications, storytelling, and digital campaigns�💡 Support national campaigns and advance Girl Up USA’s mission

Board members can contribute their strengths across areas like advocacy, fundraising, communications, recruitment, outreach, event planning, and social media, but no matter your position, every board member is part of the team.

⏰ Commitment: Approximately 5 hours per month, plus regular Coalition meetings and participation in Coalition events and projects.

What does it look like to turn passion into policy change?

Join us for From Passion to Policy: Youth Mental Health Advocacy in Action, an interactive event empowering young changemakers to advocate for mental health at both the policy and community levels. Through collaboration, discussion, and guidance from guest speaker Diana Chao, founder of Letters to Strangers, participants will explore current mental/public health legislation, build advocacy skills, and develop actionable ideas to create change in their own communities.

Your voice is powerful, and policy change starts with people willing to speak up.

Join us for Keep Calm and Continue On: Mental Health for Activists and Changemakers, a conversation dedicated to the well-being of young leaders navigating burnout, stress, and the emotional weight of advocacy work. 🧡

We’re honored to welcome guest speaker Kate Keisel, LCSW,, therapist, trainer, and Co-Founder & Co-CEO of the Sanar Institute. Kate has trained thousands of practitioners, educators, and young leaders around the world in trauma, healing, resilience, and wellness, and serves as Girl Up Global’s Mental Health & Wellness Consultant, helping equip youth with the tools to care for themselves and their communities.

This year, we’re introducing a powerful new leadership model bringing together organizing and advising into one unified role.

Coalition Leaders will serve on the Organizing & Advisory Council, connecting grassroots action with national strategy.

That means you won’t just lead in your community, you’ll help shape the future of Girl Up USA.

As a Coalition Leader, you will:�
✨ Support and grow Girl Up Clubs in your region�
✨ Advise on national campaigns, programs, and partnerships�
✨ Amplify the voices and experiences of girls across the U.S.�
✨ Collaborate with a network of changemakers nationwide

We’re looking for passionate leaders (ages 13–24) who are ready to organize, advocate, and make an impact locally and nationally.
