The Mu Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on April 20, 1975 as the first NPHC organization on George Washington's campus by nine visionary young women:

Since then, Mu Beta has continued to work tirelessly to offer quality programming that is informative, impacting, and interesting at the same time. We work hard to make a difference in our community, and we invite you to to take full advantage of the fun and beneficial programming we have to offer to the GW community. We are once again joining the Whitman Walker Foundation in the fight to End HIV!

Please take the time to donate or sign up with team Mu Beta using the link in our Instagram bio for the 40th Annual Walk & 5k to End HIV. We will meet at 7:30am on site for check-in. Real time location updates will be posted on the social media platforms.

As you make your travel plans please note road closures, and plan to ensure prompt arrival time for those using public transit. The nearest metro stop, Potomac Avenue, is a 30 minute walk from the meeting site. More info can be found at walktoendhiv.org

The Mu Beta chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. proudly welcomed the incoming class through a weekend of service!

President Okorie, Kelechi spent her morning helping freshmen move into their new home away from home at Thurston Hall!
She continued the weekend by volunteering with the GW Nashman Center for the annual Welcome Day of Service as a site leader. She led a group of freshmen to Four Mile Run Conservatory to help remove invasive plants and maintain the surrounding area, contributing to a healthier and more beautiful community.

We’re excited to welcome the Class of 2030 and look forward to continuing to serve the GW community this new academic year!

The Mu Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Delta Theta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., are excited to host a study abroad panel, “Black Abroad”. Join us as we have a panel of Black students discuss their experiences abroad and how it shaped their understanding of different cultures, global issues, and local politics. The event will be held in the School of Media and Public Affairs Room 305 on Monday, March 23, at 7:13 pm.
