Our Story

No Lost Generation at American University is committed to solidarity with refugees in the international community, driven by a variety of reasons. NLG was founded based on a shared understanding of our role, namely in seizing the opportunity to actively listen to and engage with people around the world. Our mission is to advocate and raise funds for refugee children who flee violence for a chance at life. The objective is to ensure that a generation of children is not lost due to a lack of awareness, education or interest. With the support of the US Department of State, we represent a growing movement of hopeful students who believe in the potential of safe communities, where refugees are welcome.
