This year Troop 61 in Washington is selling trees and wreaths with contact free delivery within 20 miles of Palisades Community Church. Troop 61 scouts have engaged in food drives, volunteer projects around the Washington area that make a difference in people's lives and civic actions aimed at equity and inclusion that build our community. It's been a hard year for everyone and a lot of organizations are asking for your support. Troop 61 is no different. Please buy a wreath and/or a tree or make a donation. Every dollar will go into the community or to cover the cost of scout activities. Delivery within 20 Miles of Palisades and to be delivered by December 3.

DC BSA Scout Troop 61 has organized a virtual food drive in support of the Capital Area Food Bank. At this time of critical need that many families have in our community, the CAFB is providing food to people who need it. In a virtual food drive, donors go online, purchase and pay for food from the CAFB "most wanted" list. It is then delivered directly to the Food Bank. If you are able to help, we would very much appreciate it!

You've probably seen the long line ups for food on the news as people are desperate to get food. Consequently, Troop 61 organized a virtual food drive for the Capital Area Food Bank.
