The organization is comprised of business and professional women in the District of Columbia and vicinity who are dedicated to serving the community. During the past fifty years, The Questers have given volunteer service to a number of community organizations such as nursing homes, group homes for girls and women, needy families, boarder babies, and senior citizens’ homes. The organization has sup
ported the NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women “Wall of Honor”, the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA with lifetime memberships, the Howard University Cancer Center for Breast Cancer Research, the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center to support the Freddie Mac Foundation Child and Adolescent Protection Center. Currently, major monetary donations are contributed to the Hospital for Sick Children, and a deserving college student with a four-year continuing scholarship. The goal of The Questers is to strengthen and support children’s institutions and organizations that provide for the well being of all Americans.
