NATCA Charitable Foundation The NATCA Charitable Foundation (NCF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that works to make a difference in the lives of many.

NCF is a 100% volunteer organization. NCF seeks out smaller charities that help the underserved in communities across the US. The National Air Traffic Controller Association's (NATCA) Charitable Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that touches the lives of many people across the United States. The foundation is a 100% volunteer organization, allowing us to keep our operating expenses below 5% ensuring that over 95% of the money raised goes directly to the charities that we support. We seek out organizations that serve a similar purpose, to help the under-served. While the NATCA Charitable Foundation gives to large, well known charities, we like to focus and seek out charities that are underfunded and are often missed through typical charity drives allowing us to make a big impact on these smaller underfunded charities.

🦃🚁 OPERATION TURKEY DROP 2026 IS GOING NATIONAL!

NATCA-MDT and NATCA Eastern Region is excited to be back for another year of Operation Turkey Drop and this year, we’re taking the competition nationwide! 🇺🇸 Your local could win big while making an even bigger impact in your community. Here’s how you can get involved:

🎯 DONATE. DROP. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
When your local or an individual member donates to a local food bank, you’ll earn a stress ball turkey to be dropped from a helicopter at Harrisburg International Airport (MDT)! The closest stress ball to the target wins, and the NATCA Charitable Foundation(NCF) will make a $2,500 donation to the winning participant’s chosen food bank!

🏆 RALLY YOUR LOCAL!
Get your coworkers involved, spread the word, and encourage your members to participate. Every donation brings us one step closer to helping families in need while earning your local some bragging rights!

👕 WANT ANOTHER WAY TO PARTICIPATE?
You can also earn entries by visiting https://mdt-turkey-drop.square.site/ and purchasing an Operation Turkey Drop T-shirt or hoodie! 100% of the proceeds go to MDT’s local food bank, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.

Last year, NATCA members across the country came together to raised more than $6,500 for local food banks. Let’s make an even bigger impact in 2026!

Every year, the NATCA Charitable Foundation is proud to support charities across the country that provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students in need.

This year, NCF donated to 33 charities in 23 states across all NATCA Regions, helping ensure more children begin the school year equipped with the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

Together, we are helping build brighter futures—one backpack at a time.

The NATCA Charitable Foundation is proud to provide funding for the Seattle ATCT Backpack Program, led by Sam Navarro. This generous support was donated to Communities In Schools of Washington State to help ensure local students have the essential supplies they need to feel prepared, confident, and ready to learn.
