US Embassy in Mexico’s Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs Jacqueline Ward says the World Cup is an opportunity to demonstrate results in the US-Canada-Mexico trilateral relationship.

Speaking at the Atlantic Council, Ward described how all three governments rapidly assembled an Ebola task force over a single weekend, adopting “harmonized measures” ahead of the World Cup.

“We have a major strategic advantage over China,” explains Melanie Hart, senior director of the Atlantic Council’s Global China Hub.
