We guide and coordinate effective nationwide advocacy efforts to support Ukraine’s freedom, independence, and peaceful future.

The American Coalition for Ukraine (ACU) is a growing alliance of non-profit organizations from across the country united to build community, provide educational resources, and strengthen American support for Ukraine. Our mission is to create a framework bringing together diverse US-based organizations and individuals supporting Ukraine, to provide guidance and coordinate effective nationwide advocacy efforts, and facilitate communication with US audiences. We do this by amplifying the voices, coordinating actions, and utilizing the resources offered by our member organizations and their local networks.

In response to the Trump Administration's decision to import Russian diesel to the U.S. and global marketplace, Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy shared in a longer statement that “any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is an obvious weakness. It plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world.”

Following this criticism, the Financial Times is now reporting that the United States is warning Kyiv that any strikes on Russia could jeopardize intelligence sharing from the U.S. to Ukraine.

A vulnerable post on a difficult day. We have seen the power of using our collective voice to stand with Ukraine, and when the task ahead feels insurmountable, like no action we take could ever be enough in the face of such unimaginable horrors, we still need to put one foot in front of the other.

Today these are the best tools that we have to advocate for Ukraine. Call or write to your representatives via the ACU Action Center and ask them to:
1. Urge the Trump Administration to apply the sanctions of the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act to their fullest extent and without delay
2. Urge House leadership to schedule the PEACE Act for an immediate vote to make Russia pay for the death and destruction it's causing.

At least 26 people have been killed, including children, and more than 80 are wounded following massive Russian attacks on Ukraine.

In light of these attacks, we urge the Trump Administration to apply the sanctions outlined in the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act to their fullest extent without delay.

On the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, we would like to honor those who fight for the values of freedom and democracy, who protect the lives of innocent people, and who inspire us every day with their heroism.

These brave defenders are ordinary people who made an extraordinary decision to fight for Ukraine. Nobody is born a soldier. These are teachers, parents, doctors, artists — human beings who put their lives on the line so that others may live in peace.

Today we honor the defenders in our own community, from Americans who set foot in Ukraine for the first time the day they arrived to serve, to the Ukrainians who fought for their country and now advocate with us on Capitol Hill, highlighting what is at stake. We honor those who lost their lives in service of Ukrainian freedom, including the children of the Gold Star parents who have become an integral part of our ACU community. We honor all who defend Ukraine. Героям слава. 🇺🇦

September has been an incredibly eventful month for U.S./Ukraine relations, from the passage of the Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, to the announcement that Ukraine will receive licenses from the U.S. to produce Patriot missiles and so much more that you don't want to miss.
