Last night, I had the honor of witnessing another historic moment as I attended the Second Annual Miss & Mister Black Student Union Pageant at the Black Student Union at the University of Alabama.

Congratulations to all of the phenomenal contestants who graced the stage with confidence, excellence, and pride. The production was absolutely beautiful, and I want to give a special shoutout to the organization for curating such a powerful and intentional experience for our campus community.

Day 3 recap is here! It feels like time is flying by but I’m so excited to experience this.

My sister queens and I filmed in and toured the beautiful Society of Cinncinati House. We then departed to The Park where we had lunch and a great time!

Day 2 and beyond is all about . I experienced some ankle issues leading up nationals week and wanted to just push past it with no adjustments. Well, that’s not very kind to my body which, in turn, is not me being very kind to myself.

I’ll be wearing less heels and more flats and using more of my ankle wrap. And that’s okay! I still get but I experience this entire process and see amazing things (these pictures were taken in the National Press Club! How cool is that??) A true Queen understands that adjustments on your path doesn’t mean the end goal changes. We’ll chat soon!
