The Federal Water Quality Association (FWQA) is a member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). Founded in 1928, WEF is a not-for-profit technical and educational organization with members from varied disciplines who work toward the WEF vision of preservation and enhancement of the global water environment. The WEF network includes water quality professionals from 79 Member Associa
tions in more than 30 countries. FWQA is committed to advancing science and education, disseminating technical information, increasing public understanding, and promoting the creation of sound public policy about the nation's water quality issues. FWQA members worldwide include government executives, engineering professionals, consultants, members of the academic community, and others.
