Airlink is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization working with global aviation and logistics partners to transport aid workers and emergency supplies for pre-qualified non-governmental organizations responding to rapid-onset disasters and other humanitarian crises.

RESPONDING: Airlink is mobilizing nonprofit and logistics partners to reach communities in northern after Wednesday morning’s catastrophic flash flood. Extensive damage to critical infrastructure from floodwaters that reached as high as 270 feet left roadways, bridges, and buildings swept away in some communities. Immediate needs include Search and Rescue teams, emergency supplies, and building access to affected areas.

Disaster response efforts are ongoing but hampered, making it increasingly challenging to reach remote communities. Airlink is navigating the unique and complex response requirements given the altitude of Kathmandu’s airport and high transport costs in country. With previous response experience from the 2015 earthquake, COVID-19 Delta variant, and flooding in 2024 and 2025, as well as ongoing health systems strengthening, Airlink is positioned to identify key partners to help us get aid there, fast.

Airlink joined partners at Miami International Airport yesterday to send off our 7th humanitarian air bridge flight to Caracas, in partnership with Amazon.com, the US State Department, and the World Food Programme.

This special collaboration was launched following the twin earthquakes in June, to establish a reliable flow of critical aid and relief to communities in need. Over a seven-week period, Airlink supported 30 nonprofits, mobilizing over 279 tons of essential aid from around the world to reach impacted communities in Venezuela.

The flight yesterday transported food, hygiene supplies, baby diapers and formula, medicines, solar generators, and more, which will have immediate impact for the thousands of people who remain without access to healthcare services, clean water, and food.

Airlink is grateful to Amazon, the US State Department, WFP, the Logistics Cluster, and our partners and supporters for helping us get aid to those who desperately need it. We remain dedicated to sending more aid to families in Venezuela to help them recover and rebuild for as long as recovery takes.

RESPONDING: The strongest earthquake to hit Colombia in years shook multiple cities and significantly damaged infrastructure yesterday morning.

Airlink is deploying nonprofit partners, including search and rescue teams, to supplement local response efforts in , following this devastating 7.4 magnitude earthquake.

We are closely communicating with our Colombia based partners to understand the greatest areas of need to help families and lives disrupted by the disaster.

🚨 RESPONDING: Airlink is springing into action alongside our national nonprofit partners to help people displaced by the wildfires sweeping across the US Pacific Northwest. With nearly a thousand buildings destroyed and 65,000 people evacuated in Spokane, Washington, alone, and a record-setting 2 million acres burned in Oregon, 2026 is a historic wildfire season.

Airlink is proud to help Project:Camp, CORE, and All Hands and Hearts’ emergency response teams reach communities in the path of the fires. They are conducting disaster assessments, distributing N-95 masks and air purifiers, removing flammable items away from homes, and setting up day camps to help children heal and process. 🚨 RESPONDING: Tropical Storm Bertha is strengthening along the US Gulf Coast, threatening to bring heavy rain, strong winds, and dangerous storm surge from Louisiana to Florida early Wednesday. Airlink is assessing how we can best support the immediate needs of communities in its path and will be ready to help once the storm passes. We have already been responding in the area, sending responders including debris management and food distribution teams to southern Texas and Louisiana to help families impacted by flooding and severe storms from weeks prior.

Airlink is responding to multiple disasters across the United States and Canada and closely tracking others amidst severe weather this summer:

🇺🇸 In the US, Airlink is coordinating travel for recovery specialists to Kerrville, Texas—where we responded to the devastating floods last July—as torrential rain again triggers flash floods along the Guadalupe River. We’re also monitoring more floods across the South-Central US, and tornadoes that are breaking records in the Midwest as Tornado Alley moves east.

🇨🇦 In Canada, more than 800 wildfires are burning, with fast-spreading flames engulfing entire First Nation communities and causing hazardous air pollution. As we monitor fires, we’re responding to the floods in Manitoba, sending responders to help residents rebuild as they recover from back-to-back floods.

Having responded to severe weather across North America for over a decade, Airlink is well equipped to provide logistics support and cover air fare costs for nonprofit partners, helping them launch and sustain multiple, overlapping responses across North America to reach more people in need.

🚨 RESPONDING: Communities in western , Canada, are reeling from significant flooding caused by heavy rainfall over the past month, which has washed out roads and damaged residential areas. Airlink is ensuring help reaches hard-hit rural areas in the Town of Swan River and the Municipality of Swan Valley West, where some residents experienced back-to-back flooding events that left their homes unsafe to return to.

Our team is coordinating flights for Team Rubicon Canada’s emergency responders who will conduct damage assessments, muck-outs, route clearance, and hazard and debris removal in impacted communities—and we’ll continue deploying responders over the coming weeks to ensure residents can begin the recovery process and return safely home as quickly as possible.

Airlink and partners are making the impossible possible to deliver life-saving aid to . In collaboration with Amazon.com, the US State Department, and the United Nations World Food Programme, we have established a humanitarian air bridge into Caracas to ensure, over a seven-week period, a reliable flow of critical aid and relief to communities impacted by the recent earthquakes.

Two weeks since the earthquakes, a staggering 650,000 people require humanitarian assistance. Thanks to Amazon's donation of the aircraft and fuel, we are delivering food kits, hygiene supplies, water filters, tarps, and even an EMT field hospital. Airlink also continues to send responders through the next phase of the disaster recovery process.
