Airlink is committed to sending skilled responders to communities struck by natural disasters but rising fuel costs are making it more expensive for us to deploy these experts to communities and reach families in need.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 before peak hurricane season begins on August 1 to offset increased costs—including taxes and fees—and ensure that we can meet our nonprofit partners’ requests for help.

Attention Airlink Flyers: We need your help today, so responders can take off tomorrow. 👇🚨

Airlink is facing higher costs to help responders reach communities due to rising fuel prices and supply chain interruptions. Simultaneously, we are seeing higher demand for responder flights amid emergencies around the world. With Atlantic Hurricane Season around the corner, the need for responder flights will only increase.

On average, it used to cost us $90 to book a flight for a responder. Now, it costs $228. This increased cost means Airlink can’t send as many medical professionals, search and rescue teams, clean-up crews, and more to communities after disasters.

Airlink's ability to offer affordable or no-cost flights to nonprofits is dependent on the generosity of supporters like YOU.

🚨 RESPONDING: A deadly, rare strain of the Bundibugyo Ebola virus is rapidly spreading across the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda.

⚠️ Over 500 cases have been confirmed, and more are anticipated
⚠️ The risk of transmission across the region is high due to frequent cross-border transit to mining and trade hubs, and displacement due to continued armed conflict
⚠️ Urgent needs include Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Safe and Dignified Burial (SDB) Kits, and medical supplies

Airlink is rapidly mobilizing our nonprofit partners to send critically needed SDB Kits, medical supplies, and protective equipment, including masks.

With no vaccine, infection prevention and control are essential to minimize the spread of this disease, especially in densely populated areas in Ituri and North Kivu Provinces, DRC, where Airlink is already responding to the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

🌀 Airlink is tracking storm activity across the Pacific. In addition to responding to the recent Hawaii floods, we're also prepping a response to Super Typhoon Sinlaku—currently making landfall in the U.S. Northern Marianas and Guam as the strongest storm of 2026 so far. Earlier this month, we launched a response to Cyclone Maila, which caused severe coastal flooding and landslides in the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea after a week of rain.

In order to reach Pacific Island communities, Airlink's logistics support to move aid over long distances and to remote locations is critical. We're identifying effective routes to get both emergency responders and supplies where they're needed most to restore power and damaged infrastructure and provide emergency hygiene and shelter supplies on behalf of our nonprofit partners.

The conflict in Sudan is extending into its fourth year, and an estimated 33.7 million people still face famine, mass displacement, violence, and disease outbreaks.

But since Airlink's response launched in 2023, your support has made a tangible impact. The Sudanese people and our nonprofit partners have been able to count on Airlink, even as media attention and global funding to alleviate the humanitarian crisis dwindled. We've developed pathways to providing relief where there were none, delivering essential aid despite a volatile conflict that has made transport complicated, dangerous, costly, and uncertain.

Together, we've provided vital aid to 5 million people in Sudan, Chad, South Sudan and the Central African Republic who are affected by this conflict, and we're grateful for our partners and donors who fly by our side to ensure we can keep doing more.
