Diplomatic Perspective is a DC-based 501 (c) (3) NGO working to bridge the gap in international affairs between diverse youth and underrepresented young adults. We believe this is achieved through connection to educational opportunities, cultural exchange, strategic partnerships, technology, & travel. As an organization, we strive to act as the motivating force to cultivate & enhance the future diplomatic leaders & peacemakers of today. Founded in 2019 by Ayanna Dawkins and Ryanna Miller, Diplomatic Perspective infuses volunteer team members, consultants, fellows, and corporate giving to facilitate our mission, values, and programming. Working harmoniously with District of Columbia Public schools, international NGOs, current and former international affairs leaders, Fortune 100 companies, and government entities continues to produce a formidable sustainability and impact forecast. Together, we desire to assist youth and young adults in achieving opportunities and life-changing experiences through education, social capital, and access. Our Name: We use the term "Diplomatic" to describe the intersection between positive everyday people skills and international affairs jargon. "Perspective" is combined to formulate the overall message that each individual has a unique voice, diverse background, and a valued opinion when it comes to ensuring peace and opportunity in communities and our world.

Morocco — The Experience

A journey like ACIP is shaped by more than the places we visit. It is shaped by the people we meet, the conversations we share, the experiences we take part in, and the moments we create along the way.

Throughout their time in Morocco, our fellows engaged in educational and cultural activities, connected with others, explored new ideas, and learned through being fully immersed in a new environment.

From shared moments with the group to opportunities for cultural exchange and learning, each interaction encouraged our fellows to step outside the familiar, build connections across cultures, and see the world from a broader perspective.

Morocco — Places That Shaped the Journey

Some journeys are defined not only by where you go, but by what the places around you invite you to see, notice, and understand.

Throughout ACIP 2026, our fellows experienced Morocco through its historic architecture, coastal landscapes, mountains, and the many views that made each moment feel distinct.

From standing along the coast to taking in the landscapes and architectural details around them, each place offered a glimpse into the history, culture, and character of Morocco.

🌍 These moments became more than memories—they became part of a journey that encouraged our fellows to look beyond what they already know and engage with the world from a broader perspective.
