Focused on community service projects and education for our citizens. The purpose of the FBI Washington D.C.

Citizens Academy Alumni Association is to support and further the special connection between the graduates of the FBI Washington Field Office Citizens Academy and the Washington Field Office, and to support the mission of the FBI and help the community. Graduates of the FBI Citizens Academy are eligible for membership in the Alumni Association, but membership is not automatic.

Cara Jones is CEO and co-founder of Marinus Analytics. She has managed the maturation and sustainability of the flagship software Traffic Jam since the company's founding and technology transfer from Carnegie Mellon University. She studied computer & systems engineering and technology management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. With a family tradition of public service, Cara is passionate about supporting public safety and the disruption of online harm. She has a deep wealth of experience in social entrepreneurship and the emerging safety tech sector.

For over a decade, Marinus Analytics has developed and delivered Traffic Jam, an innovative tool to index and analyze online marketplaces for “adult services”, enabling law enforcement to counter s*x trafficking at scale.

They currently partner with NCMEC National Center for Missing & Exploited Children & others.
