🎄💚 FREEDOM GROW IS BEHIND BARS AT MJ UNPACKED! 💚🎄

We’re officially set up at MJ Unpacked in Kansas City, kicking off our 2026 Holiday Drive in partnership with MJ Unpacked!

⛓️ Our prison cell display is a powerful reminder that people are STILL serving time behind bars for cannabis. The faces displayed outside the bars represent real people who continue to pay the price for cannabis prohibition.

🎁 This year, our fundraising at MJ Unpacked is focused on the children of incarcerated cannabis prisoners. Donations will provide holiday gift cards to children, given on behalf of their incarcerated parent, allowing moms and dads to bring a little joy to their children despite being separated by prison walls.

💚 Any funds raised beyond what's needed for the children's gifts will go directly toward holiday commissary funds for those incarcerated, helping provide food, toiletries, and other necessities.

🎄 FREEDOM GROW’S 2026 HOLIDAY DRIVE KICKS OFF AT MJ UNPACKED! 🎄

Freedom Grow will be at MJ Unpacked in Kansas City this Wednesday and Thursday, kicking off our annual Holiday Drive with the incredible support of MJ Unpacked! 💚

Our Holiday Drive has two important parts:

🎁 Children & Families: Providing gift cards to children who have a parent incarcerated for cannabis, given on behalf of their incarcerated parent, so Mom or Dad can still be part of bringing joy to their child during the holidays.

💚 Cannabis Prisoners: Providing holiday commissary funds to the people themselves, helping with food, toiletries, correspondence supplies, and other necessities while they remain incarcerated.

This year, MJ Unpacked will be focusing its fundraising on the children’s side of our Holiday Drive. Any funds raised beyond what is needed for the children's gift cards will go toward the second part of the drive, putting holiday commissary funds directly into the accounts of cannabis prisoners.

Our longtime volunteer Danielle Muggli will be there representing Freedom Grow, so please stop by, say hello, learn about the families we support, and help us kick off the Holiday Drive! 🎄❤️

⛳💚 A Great Day on the Greens for a Great Cause!

What an incredible time yesterday at the Vlasic Classic Golf Tournament in Las Vegas! ⛳

Freedom Grow was proud to be represented by our Board Member, Randy Lanier, who joined everyone for a fun-filled day of golf, generosity, and giving back!

A huge THANK YOU to W***y Vlasic, the entire Vlasic Classic team, and ALL of the amazing sponsors for inviting Freedom Grow to be part of this special event and for your continued generosity and support! 💚

Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of people who remain incarcerated for cannabis. Through your generosity, Freedom Grow is able to provide books, magazines, commissary funds, family outreach, and reentry assistance to over 230 people who need it most.

This update/message is from Edwin Rubis who has been incarcerated in Federal prison for cannabis for 28 years:

WEDNESDAY
October 7, 2026

Friend. I received a second B-12 injection today.

Last week I received one, and next week I shall receive a third one. From thereon, the medical department is going to administer "one injection" once a month until my B-12 levels are stabilized.

My thyroid medication was also reduced from .175 mcg to .150 mcg And to tell you the truth, I feel with more energy and less fatigue. I am sleeping better without periodically waking up numerous times during the night and feeling dizzy.

Freedom Grow is excited to be hitting the course this Saturday, October 10th, at the Vlasic Classic Golf Tournament, and we are incredibly honored to once again be one of the event’s beneficiaries!

The Vlasic Classic has continued to show up for Freedom Grow and the people and families we serve, and we can’t thank them enough for their ongoing support. 💚

Yesterday was Parker Coleman’s 41st birthday. He has spent 15 years incarcerated, and he is serving a 60-year sentence for cannabis!

Parker was recently denied clemency. Without clemency or other sentence relief, he could spend about 45 more years behind bars, possibly not being released until his mid 80's.

Parker is serving his time in a dangerous penitentiary, he needs relief ASAP!

A birthday should be a time for hope, but Parker’s sentence means he could lose so many more years of his life.

Please help wish him a happy birthday and keep Parker in your thoughts and support future clemency for him.
