The Camp Breastie Accessibility Ride Chat on the day after camp: 📱😂

“Can someone pick me up in Texas?”
“Can you swing by Pennsylvania?”
“What about Brooklyn?”
“Actually… can we all just go back to camp?”

🤍 🏕️

In all seriousness, a huge thank you to our incredible Accessibility Team.

From coordinating rides and transportation to helping campers navigate camp and ensuring everyone could fully participate in the weekend, your work made Camp Breastie more welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for so many people.

So while we may be jokingly requesting rides back to camp from across the country… we’re genuinely grateful for everything you do.

Thank you for helping make the magic possible. ✨

Virtual Events are here!

The Breasties believe in the power of bringing everyone together, while at the same time, honoring the importance of protected spaces.

Thanks to our incredible trauma-informed and social justice trained community hosts, we are able to provide free virtual meetups that are for the community and by the community.

Meetups are protected spaces where you can gather weekly around topics that include; stage 4 thrivers, gynecologic cancers, S*x & intimacy, treatment decisions, and more.

Tiramos todas las fotos 📸🤍🏕️

And somehow, they still don’t capture what this weekend felt like.

Words can’t begin to explain the magic of Camp Breastie.

We laughed until our stomachs hurt.
We cried in the arms of people who understood.
We screamed into lakes.
We danced.
We learned.
We healed.
We made new friends, strengthened old friendships, and created memories we’ll carry with us long after we leave camp.

For a few days, we got to exist in a place where we didn’t have to explain ourselves. A place where “me too” was understood without saying a word.

To every camper, cabin leader, volunteer, speaker, sponsor, staff member, donor, and supporter: thank you for making this community what it is.

Our hearts are so full.

We love you, Breasties. 🫂

Until next year. 🏕️✨

Camp Breastie Magic Moments 🏔️✨

Camp Breastie has been filled with connection, community, and so much joy.

From presenting a $70,000 check to to support metastatic breast cancer research, made possible by this incredible community, to archery, water aerobics, powerful panels, new friendships, and countless hugs, every moment has reminded us why this weekend is so special.

The magic of Camp Breastie isn’t just in the programming. It’s in the people! The conversations, the laughter, the support, and the feeling of being understood without having to explain.

We already don’t want Camp to end…. But we are getting excited for tonight’s sweet escape… BREASTIVAL!! 🍉🍑🍒🍌✨

Everyone has a story. 💛

But figuring out how to tell it—especially after a cancer diagnosis, genetic mutation, caregiving experience, or other life-changing event—can feel overwhelming.

In How to Share Your Story, Elissa Kalver guided Breasties through the art of storytelling, offering reflection, practical tools, and a supportive space to explore what it means to share our experiences authentically.

Whether your story is meant for a social media post, a conversation with a loved one, advocacy work, a personal essay, or simply your own journal, your voice matters.

Through guided prompts and thoughtful discussion, participants explored vulnerability, boundaries, authenticity, and the many different ways stories can be shared.

Because sometimes telling our stories helps others feel less alone.
And sometimes it helps us understand ourselves a little better, too. ✨
