In South Florida, The Smile Trust, along with partners, have activated the Community Emergency Operations Center. It is serving as a collection & distribution hub providing mutual aid efforts locally and state-wide. The first truck filled with supplies such as water and generators left today on its way to Naples.

A few flicks from Ghana with 🇬🇭

In 2019, I was selected for the Nyah Project’s Global Youth Leadership Fellowship in Bali Indonesia. This two-week experiential program serves a select cohort of 12 high potential, BIPOC high school youth leaders in South Florida. What I learned in 2019 stuck with me and ultimately shaped me into the leader I am today. I was happy to be a peer facilitator for the class of 2021. This July, I traveled with Nyah Fellows traveled to Ghana in West Africa where we participated in a curated learning journey through masterclasses featuring local leaders, social impact days, cultural immersion and leadership development labs.
