The AEDC Scholarship Foundation Board is proud to present the 25th Annual Albert R. “Butch” Hopkins Memorial Scholarship Foundation Golf Tournament. Under the leadership of Stanley Jackson, President/CEO, AEDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering economic development in Anacostia and the Far Southeast of Washington, D.C.

Established in memory of Albert R. “Butch” Hopkins, our Scholarship Foundation provides essential funding for high school graduates from Anacostia and Ballou High Schools. These two local institutions are committed to nurturing the next generation of leaders and preparing them for success in college, their careers, and beyond.

For a quarter-century, our Scholarship Foundation has relied on the generosity of supporters like you to make a significant impact. To date, we have awarded over $360,000 in scholarships to 76 students who are now pursuing higher education across the nation.
