At the DC Council’s “Technology in Schools” Hearing, Noah Dougherty of DC Charter School Alliance emphasized the importance of balancing innovation with student safety, privacy, and well-being.

From listening to educators and families to preparing students for a future shaped by AI, his testimony reinforced the need for thoughtful, responsible approaches to technology that reflect the needs of every school community.
