We are excited to announce that the Mississippi on the Potomac Weekend is July 19 - 20, 2025. This year's events include the annual Magnolia Mingle: Catfish Fry and the Jazzy Jubilee Brunch, both of which are crowd favorites.

After a four-year hiatus, the WATAC - Washington Area Tougaloo Alumni Chapter celebrated its 32nd Annual Mississippi on the Potomac Celebration. This year’s celebration allowed us to continue raising scholarship funding for the WATAC Scholarship Program and Tougaloo College students. We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors, donors, attendees, and supporters, especially our corporate sponsors, Entergy, Wingstop, and Thompson Hospitality. Because of your unwavering commitment to our mission, we can continue our work to make students' dreams of earning a college education come true.
