James R. Hoffa Mem. Scholarship Fund awards college scholarships to Teamster sons/daughters/fin.deps.

The James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund will award $1.2 million in college and vocational/training program scholarships this year to high school seniors across the U.S. and Canada.

On Friday, May 15, award winners of the $10,000 Academic scholarships from the JRHMSF were notified. Congratulations!

Winners of the 1k awards and Vocational/Training program awards will be announced in the coming weeks.

The James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund received hundreds of applications this year from across the U.S. and Canada. All applications submitted by the March 2 deadline are now being reviewed. Winners will be announced in June, or before. As in past years, the JRHMSF will award $1.2 million in scholarships this year: Academic scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 and Vocational/Training program scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,000.

Another source of funding is the Teamsters Scholarship Fund whose application deadline is April 1. Details can be found at: www.teamster.org

In addition, the Tuition Discount Network offers funding to all Teamsters and members of their families. The ISTS Tuition Discount Network (TDN) is a list of For-Profit and Non-Profit colleges and universities that offer reduced tuition. The amount of the reduction varies by school and can sometimes be as specific as major. Make sure you identify yourself as a Teamster when applying.

The Fund offers Academic scholarships for current high school seniors planning to attend college in the fall of 2026. Academic scholarships range from $1,000 to $10,000. Vocational/Training Program scholarships are also available ranging from $500 to $2,000.

High school seniors who are the children of Teamster members (US and Canada) have a terrific opportunity to apply for a college or vocational school scholarship from the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund. But, the deadline is coming up quickly -- its March 2nd.
