Good luck to Indiana State Civics Bee champion Ayan Reddy as he will be competing tomorrow in Washington, D.C. at the National Civics Bee Championship!

Ayan is from Newburgh and began his journey in the competition held by the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership. (This was the organization's first year participating as a regional Civics Bee partner.)

Ayan believes strong communities are built through local partnerships and smart solutions. For his National Civics Bee® essay, he focused on improving school food by partnering with local farmers, exploring how schools can work with agricultural producers to provide fresher, healthier meals while supporting the local economy.
