The Golden Hour Sound Experience apart of the The Love Conquers All Tour, was created to feel like a soft place to land through a guided sound bath led by a local sound bath practitioner in each city, followed by an intimate live performance by Somalia. Bring a blanket, your favorite pillow, or something that makes you feel soft and cozy.

The National Museum of American History is partnering with The Go-Go Museum to teach you how to Beat Ya Feet! This high-energy, footwork-driven dance form, developed in Southeast DC in the 1990s by Marvin “Slush” Taylor, is grounded in the rhythm of go-go music and inspired by its energy. Learn some steps and practice your moves with a performance by up-and-coming band Next Gen Krank.

Join us again for Go-Go Karaoke at The Go-Go Museum & Café. Sing your favorite go-go hits and enjoy delicious food from the Diaspora. The Go-Go Museum Café & Bar will have happy hour and drink specials all night.

Karaoke will take place in our Secret Garden if weather permits and on our lower level if it does not.

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by visiting The Go-Go Museum & Café this summer. Explore our interactive exhibits and enjoy our delicious food from the African Diaspora. Each month, we host concerts, guided tours, karaoke, and community events.
