Learn about lifesaving programs for refugees and asylum seekers around the world, contribute to making this work possible, and meet like-minded people in your community. Apply today to participate in our inaugural HIAS Action DC Giving Circle for a cohort of young Jewish and Jewish-adjacent professionals in their 20s and 30s. HIAS Washington Director for Community Engagement Chelsey Berlin will facilitate meaningful discussions about Jewish values around charitable giving; in-depth conversations with program leads for three HIAS programs that illuminate how HIAS works locally and globally; and finally a pop-up giving circle that will determine how our pooled donations will be distributed between those three HIAS programs.
