This last Saturday, 9/28, several of us came together, in a colleague's consulting room, to share work on the topic of Transference. Leticia Lopez's beautiful and cogent talk on the fundamental and original nature of transference guided our discussions regarding exemplary cases presented by Nora Gabbert and Michael McAndrew.

Leaving aside the necessary and enriching experience of being-in-the-room to share work and time, this event served another purpose: working across imaginary boundaries for a future of psychoanalysis. Where better than in the US capital city, designed by a French architect, and resided-in by immigrants from all over the world, to take this lesson for Lacanians?
